Latest Album Sales Figures for Week of August 26, 2010

In this week's Sales Wrap, Eminem continues to command his place atop his competition, Kem returns to the chart and Rick Ross takes a fall from the Top 10.

 Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery remained at No. 1 this week pushing out 116,400 units. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the rapper's latest solo album has sold 2,229,400 units to date after only nine weeks on the chart.

R&B singer Kem's Intimacy experienced a strong debut at No. 2 this week. After seven days of availability, the singer's new album has sold 74,300 units.

Def Jam juggernaut Rick Ross' Teflon Don fell from Top 10 this week moving four slots to No. 11 with 23,700. With five weeks under his belt, the rapper's new solo album has shelled out 332,000 records. Young Money rapper Drake's Thank Me Later slipped one notch to No. 12 with 23,400. Heading into his 11th week, the emcee's long-awaited debut should reach platinum status next week with 993,500 records already sold.

Music newcomer Ke$ha's Animal received a two-slot boost to No. 23 with 14,600. After 33 weeks in the books, the singer's new album has sold 899,800 units.

Award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) moved out of Top 20 this week sliding 11 slots to No. 29 with 13,100. After 63 weeks, the group's 2009 album has sold 2,746,400 records to date.

Grammy-winning singer Usher's Raymond V Raymond also fell from the Top 20 moving out 12 positions to No. 31 with 12,600. With 21 weeks to his name, the singer's new album has sold 1,017,600 pieces.

Grand Hustle rapper B.o.B.'s Adventures of Bobby Ray trickled down two slots to No. 34 with 11,300. With 17 weeks knocked out, Bobby Ray's debut has sold 367,300 pieces.

UGK member Bun B's Trill O.G. took a hard hit falling 18 positions down to No. 35 with 11,300. After 21 days in stores, the rapper's new LP has sold 68,200 units.

Singer Mike Posner's 31 Minutes to Takeoff also suffered a huge falling after moving down 38 spots to No. 46 with 9,200. With 14 days in the books, the singer's new album has sold 38,400 records.

Evening things out in Top 50 is YouTube sensation-turned-R&B singer Dondria's Dondria VS Phatfffat which opened at No. 50. After seven days in stores, the singer's debut studio album has sold 8,300 records to date.

Latest Album Sales Figures for Week of September 22, 2010

In this week's Sales Wrap, Trey Songz takes over the competition at No. 2, Eminem steps back at No. 3 and Black Milk makes a chart debut. 

Leading the pack this week is R&B singer Trey Songz'sPassion, Pain & Pleasure which debuted at No. 2, falling one slot behind Linkin Park's Thousand Suns which sold 241,600 copies. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Songz's new LP has sold 240,400 records to date

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem'sRecovery dropped one slot to No. 3 with 89,000. After 13 weeks in stores, Slim Shady's latest offering has sold 2,590,300 copies.
